Dosage
Manufacturer products suggest 50 mg to 500 mg of yeast nucleotides per day. There are few published human trials. Ask your healthcare provider before regular use.
Ingredient guide
Yeast nucleotides are RNA-derived building blocks supplied as immune ingredients in some supplements (e.g., Immunell). Animal studies support immune modulation. Direct human trial evidence is limited.
Limited evidenceYeast nucleotides are the small building blocks of RNA, extracted from brewer's or baker's yeast. They include adenosine, guanosine, cytidine, and uridine monophosphates. Nucleotides are essential for cell growth and division, including immune cell production. Immunell is a branded yeast nucleotide ingredient.
Brewer's yeast supplementation improves baseline immune responses in aged mice. Yeast nucleotide supplementation modulates gut immune response and microflora in weaned pigs under sanitary challenge. Preterm infants on nucleotide-supplemented formulas showed higher IgM and IgA in the first three months. Direct human trial evidence on yeast nucleotides specifically for adults is limited. We grade the evidence as limited.
