Editorial Policy
Last updated September 28, 2026
This policy sets the rules for everything we publish. It applies to reviews, ingredient guides, comparisons, statistics pages, and articles.
Who writes our content
Our content is produced by the Supplements Unpacked Editorial Team. We publish as a team, not under individual names. We use software, including AI tools, to help research and draft. Every page must meet the rules below before it goes live.
Independence
- Brands cannot pay for a review, a higher score, or a place in a ranking.
- Brands do not see or approve a review before we publish it.
- We earn affiliate commissions from some links. We disclose this on every page that has them, and in full on our disclosure page.
Evidence rules
- Every health claim must link to, or name, its source.
- We say how strong the evidence is. "One small study" and "many large trials" are not the same thing, and we do not write them as if they were.
- We do not repeat a seller's claim unless we can support it. When a claim is weak, we call it weak.
Health-claim limits
- We never say a supplement treats, cures, or prevents a disease.
- When a symptom can signal a medical problem, we tell you to see a doctor first.
- Our content is information, not medical advice.
Updates
We review pages when new evidence appears, when a product changes its formula or price, or when a reader reports a problem. When we make a real change to a page, we update its date.
Corrections
We fix mistakes quickly and openly. See our corrections policy.
